Roomi's new premium subscriptions plans are here! They'll help you make the most out of Roomi and find roommates and tenants, fast. You can choose weekly or monthly plans, depending on what you are using Roomi for. Subscriptions plans will be available on iOS first, then Web and Android will soon follow.


What is included in my subscription? 

Our plan benefits are tailored to your needs, whether you're using Roomi to find a new roommate or you're using Roomi for business. 


For personal users:

  • Free bookings to save over $100 on safe money transfer between you and your new Roomi


For business users:


Solo Agent gets you:


  •  Access to message 10 tenants/ day directly, without them replying to a listing
  • A Verified Partner badge which gets you 5x more leads 
  • 10 active listings so you can fill up to 10 places at once 



Business Unlimited gets you:


  • All the benefits of our Solo Agent plan 
  • Upgrade from 10 listings to unlimited listings
  • Upgrade from 10 tenant messages per day to unlimited messages


I subscribed to a plan but it isn't working


If you are subscribed to a plan (through iOS or Android) but you don't see it in your account, you'll need to restore your purchase.

Here's how to do it:


  • Click on your profile photo 
  • Tap the Roomi Gold, Solo Agent, or Business Unlimited banner (depending on what you subscribed to)
  • Tap "Restore Purchases" all the way at the bottom of your screen. (Hint: It's in tiny blue font near our Terms of Service and Privacy policy.) 



I need to update my payment information 



No problem! You'll need to update your payment information on the same platform you subscribed on. Follow the instructions below for each platform (iOS, Android, and Web).


iOS

  • Open the Settings app on your iPhone > iTunes & App Store > tap your Apple ID > View Apple ID > tap Payment Information

Android

  • If you made the purchase using your Google Play Store account, open the Google Play Store > tap the menu icon > My AccountAdd Payment Method or Edit Payment Method

Web (Roomiapp.com)

  • Go to roomiapp.com and sign in > tap the profile icon > Settings > Payment Info > Add Credit Card or Edit Credit Card.



I canceled my subscription but was charged anyway.


FYI: If you cancel your subscription after your renewal date, you'll be charged for that renewal period. If you canceled before the renewal date and were still charged, follow these steps:

What is your refund policy? 


No refunds or prorate subscription costs when you cancel after 24 hours of purchase.  To make sure you don't get charged for a future payment, cancel your subscription at least one day before the end of the billing cycle. If you cancel your subscription in between billing cycles, you'll still be able to use your subscription for the days you paid for.


I want to cancel my subscription



Things to know:

  • Deleting the Roomi app from your phone won’t cancel your subscription. To stop future payments, follow the steps below.
  • If you cancel your subscription in between billing cycles, you'll still be able to use your subscription for the days you paid for.
  • We can't refund or prorate subscription costs when you cancel.

How to cancel

iOS

  1. Open your iPhone Settings
  2. Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions
  3. Select the subscription you want to cancel
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription

If this doesn't work out, contact Apple Customer Support. We don't have the ability to cancel subscriptions processed by Apple, but they should be able to help!

Android (Google Play)

  1. Open the Google Play Store
  2. Tap the Menu icon and go to Subscriptions
  3. Select the subscription you want to cancel
  4. Tap Cancel subscription

Web (Roomiapp.com)

  1. Visit  Roomiapp.com
  2. Tap your profile icon
  3. Go to Settings
  4. Under Account, navigate to Subscription and click on "View"
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page, click on the link that says "To cancel your subscription, click here" and follow the directions.
